It wasn't bad...until today
I got this exact one off of eBay for about the same price. The seller
sent a pleather case with it free. It lagged on me when I first got it
so I decided to flash it. It. Worked. AWESOME! Today, Earth Date,
February 13, 2012, it bricks. All I get is the green LED light...nothing
on screen. Hmmm. I fiddle-faddle around on the Web trying to find a way
to "un-mortar" this brick. You have to peel the screen protector back
at the corners and get a micro Phillips-head screwdriver to take the
back off. When you get into this bad boy, it looks like a train wreck. I
was at a site telling you to "solder this, unhook that". I'm pretty
dumb when it comes to electronics and am sans soldering iron. I unhooked
the battery and memory, in hopes it will reset itself and come back to
life. No such luck at this point.
It is nice for beginners who want a tablet and don't want to pay the outrageous price of an iPad.
Don't do what I did and flash the snot out of it. That was my
stupidity. I will tell further more if I have any luck bringing this
brick from the dead.
