Sony XPERIA S with official Android 4.0.4 MIUI ROM review

The MIUI custom ROM that has been in a closed beta has been leaked over at xda-developers for the Sony Xperia S. The MIUI 2.7.6 ROM relates to Android 4.0.4 and will work for phones that have both unlocked and locked bootloaders, although you will need root access for the latter. For the most part, people are reporting that the ROM works pretty well. A few people seem to have issues with data working and others find it difficult to move from the Chinese language setting to English or other languages (this can be done by editing the system/build.prop file). If you don’t find the Google Play Store, you can download it from the Chinese MIUI store or just flash GAPPS. It’s a great start and it should only got more polish once it is finally released.
